Quarters Brew ("we", "us", "our") respects your privacy. This policy explains what personal data we collect when you use www.quartersbrew.com (the "Site"), why we collect it, and how we protect it, in accordance with the Hong Kong Personal Data (Privacy) Ordinance (Cap. 486) ("PDPO").

1. INFORMATION WE COLLECT

Information you provide to us:
- Contact details — name, email address, phone number and delivery address when you place an order or contact us.
- Order information — products purchased, order value, and delivery instructions.
- Newsletter subscription — your email address when you join the Fresh List.
- Wholesale enquiries — your name, business name, contact details and requirements submitted to info@quartersbrew.com.

Information collected automatically:
- Device and usage data — browser type, device, pages visited, and referring links, collected via cookies and similar technologies.
- Analytics — we use Google Analytics 4 to understand how visitors use the Site. GA4 collects information such as pages visited, time on site, and approximate location (city level). You can opt out via your browser or Google's opt-out tools.

2. HOW WE USE YOUR INFORMATION
- To process, fulfil and deliver your orders, and to provide customer support.
- To send order confirmations, shipping updates and service messages (these are not marketing).
- To send our newsletter if you subscribed — you may unsubscribe at any time using the link in any email.
- To respond to wholesale enquiries.
- To improve the Site, our products and your shopping experience through analytics.
- To comply with legal, tax and accounting obligations, and to prevent fraud.

We do not sell your personal data.

3. HOW WE SHARE YOUR INFORMATION
We share personal data only with the parties needed to operate our business:
- Shopify — our e-commerce platform, which processes and stores store data (Shopify may process data outside Hong Kong).
- Payment processors — to process payments securely (we never see or store full card numbers).
- Delivery carriers — to ship your orders.
- Service providers — e.g. Google Analytics, and email/infrastructure providers, under obligations to protect your data.
- Authorities — where required by law, regulation, or legal process.

4. COOKIES
The Site uses cookies and similar technologies for essential functions (cart, checkout, login), analytics (GA4), and to remember your preferences. You can control or delete cookies through your browser settings; disabling essential cookies may affect Site functionality.

5. DATA RETENTION
We keep personal data only as long as needed for the purposes above: order records are retained as required by tax and accounting law; newsletter emails are kept until you unsubscribe; enquiry emails are kept for a reasonable period to handle follow-ups.

6. YOUR RIGHTS UNDER THE PDPO
You have the right to:
- Request access to your personal data we hold.
- Request correction of inaccurate data.
- Request cessation of processing or deletion of your data, subject to legal retention requirements.
- Withdraw consent to marketing at any time.
